There are still some terms and events that don't make much sense, but your question will (probably) be answered in the next book. This book doesn't give you any answers, but the major events start here. If you like that anime but are sad that it ended, get this book. However, if it went further and Aras Ramus had been introduced at all, this series would have suffered the same fate as Sekirei and many other anime seasons. It doesn't end with hope, and there are some unanswered questions, but it's easy to be satisfied with the ending. A few things have changed from the source material, but it's all wrapped up nicely. I'll say it right away: I'm kind of glad the anime stopped there. Finally, what comes next for our beloved villain, his hard-working general, his lazy fallen angel, their archenemy, the super-cute church cleric, and the high schoolers who are just together for love. This is the volume you've been waiting for.
